The Sky Vacation

Welcome to Nepal

Nepal, nestled in the heart of the Himalayas, is a land of breathtaking natural beauty, spiritual depth, and ancient traditions. With a history dating back thousands of years, Nepal was home to early civilizations and is famously known as the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, the Buddha, in Lumbini. It remained an independent kingdom throughout its history, even during the colonial era, and was unified in the 18th century under King Prithvi Narayan Shah. Nepal’s cultural identity is shaped by a blend of Hindu and Buddhist influences, visible in its temples, stupas, festivals, and daily life. From the bustling historic streets of Kathmandu to the serene trails of the Annapurna and Everest regions, Nepal offers both spiritual and physical adventure. Following centuries of monarchy, Nepal became a democratic republic in 2008. Today, it is cherished for its resilient people, vibrant culture, and some of the world’s highest and most awe-inspiring mountains.
